学習者の学びを最大限に引き出す教育プログラムの開発には、プログラム評価が重要な役割を担います。今回、米国大学協会（Association of American Colleges & Universities）のSusan Albertine教授をお招きし、「アセスメント（評価）とは、何か」また「有効なプログラム評価に必要な要素は何か」をセミナーの参加者の皆様と共に考えていきたいと思います。
講演内容：
1) What is assessment? How does it differ from other forms of testing or evaluation?
2) How does assessment work in practice?
Two examples: a) assessment of an actual assignment used for first-year college students; and b) a story about assessment of student outcomes in a philosophy program
3) How to set goals and outcomes for program assessment?
Two examples: a) Backward design and b) essential learning outcomes framework
4) Getting Started: Using a VALUE rubric and/or the Degree Qualification Profile as points of reference for setting goals and outcomes for an admissions process
